Sound changes the City / Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative – international platform and urban/SmartCity/city development, cultural, educational and social responsibility/inclusion initiative, launched in 5 countries already. Initiative is proposing Sound and its Cultural impact as a unique medium for a social and global change and revealing how ambient sound design can impact the urban environment. This Global Initiative exploring the Cities through the perspective of a Sound and researching how Sound can govern the City. Initiative focused on a real results (including experiments and solutions that improving livability, walkability, soundscape, ecological and social aspects of the City) that could be used in a real life from the artistic side and real city-related work. * In-house developed hardware: special industrial-grade equipment CitySenseBox™ and PlanetSenseBox™ – in-house developed families of the mobile and stationary IoT devices for improved City measurements. * Creative AI showcase: City Symphonies™ – highly anticipated musical shows (performed live with mandatory local musicians), composed from the City-data of different districts using AI composer Musical Blockchain. City Symphonies are a permanently evolving Audio Snapshot of a City's current state. These musical shows are result of the Human-Computer Interaction, created exclusively for each Sound changes the City / Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative event worldwide. Live renditions of the AI-composed tracks inspired by the gathered data by CitySenseBox™ and PlanetSenseBox™ families of IoT devices was presented in Vilnius, Minsk, Tallinn, Munich in late 2019. As City Sound directly connected with an Acoustic and Soundscape Ecology - with City data, recorded with the CitySenseBox™ / PlanetSenseBox™ families of the mobile and stationary IoT devices for improved City measurements - we can build a healthier City, as there are serious relationship between noise exposure and health effects. City Heatmap will ease creation of solutions for the emission control and other Ecology- and Climate-related challenges. Creatively working with the Sound, we're creating solutions that will improve livability and walkability of the City. - It's educating and inspiring. With all events of Sound changes the City, City changes the Sound we're all the time bringing something new to the table, that you might not thought about. It's a food for thoughts. It's ideas exchange. It's a social inclusion. And it's mandatory disabled-people friendly. Bringing together Communities, Citizens and Artists, acting from the City and Sound sides, together we're brainstorming, exploring and creating audial experiments and solutions for the City. - It's beautiful.
